As 2021 concludes, we want to take a moment and say thank you for all your support, volunteer hours and prayers, which enabled us to have a successful 50th Jubilee year. We celebrated 50 years of blessed heritage with several wonderful events including, “St. Monica’s Senior Living Day” on February 1, 2021, the Gallery Premier of Heidi Wagner’s Passions Project, and Cheers to 50 Years: ART | WINE | MUSIC. Most recently we enjoyed a mass and dinner commemorating the 110th Founding Day of the Sisters of St. Rita. We were honored to have mass presided over by The Most Reverend Jerome E. Listecki, Archbishop of Milwaukee.
This year has allowed us to reflect on the past 50 years while looking to our future at the same time. We continue to strive for excellence when it comes to caring for those living at St. Monica’s and we also look for ways to help everyone remain engaged and independent. Accomplishing personal daily tasks empowers an individual to strive for bigger goals. Something as simple as doing laundry can provide a feeling of value. At the same time there are Community Members who need assistance in areas such as this and we are happy to help!
Throughout any given day, our laundry rooms are often occupied by Community Members or staff. We need to create a new laundry room dedicated to staff assisting with this task so that our current laundry rooms remain available to Community Members who wish to undertake laundry independently. This new space will be created in our north hall and allow staff to optimize production. Would you please consider a contribution to help us reach our goal to fund this project?

From our home to yours, St. Monica’s Senior Living wishes you and your loved ones a blessed holiday season!
