Welcome Stephany Lichter as Our New Administrator

Stephany has been a familiar and friendly face to all of you for the past 3 years as the Director of Nursing and Compliance Officer. It is with great pleasure that St. Monica’s announces her promotion to Administrator of St. Monica’s Senior Living, effective July 1, 2021. 

She brings a passion for person-centered care and meeting each community member’s needs while keeping the family actively involved. Stephany states, “Caring for seniors has always been a passion of mine and the values and mission of St. Monica’s is a perfect fit for me. It is with delight I continue my career at St. Monica’s Senior Living.”

Stephany brings 20 years of leadership experience and holds a master’s degree in Nursing Administration. In 2019, she obtained an Administrator’s Certificate from the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association (WALA). 

Prior to coming to St. Monica’s, Stephany was in a leadership role for Ascension Healthcare and most recently was Regional Manager of Patient and Family Experience for 6 area hospitals where she represented the voice of the customer. Other experiences include managing the Medical Surgical Unit at Wheaton Franciscan - All Saints Hospital. 

“Stephany Lichter has been an incredible leader throughout the COVID pandemic, and I’m thrilled that she will continue with St. Monica’s”, stated Loretta Baxter, Executive Director. Currently St. Monica’s is looking for a Director of Nursing to backfill Stephany’s Director of Nursing position. Loretta Baxter is planning on retiring at the end of December and will assist in the seamless transition during the next few months.
