The past few weeks at St. Monica's Senior Living have been filled with holiday cheer! We've been fortunate to enjoy a variety of festive events, concerts, and performances that have brought immense joy to our residents.
- Musical Merriment: The Racine Kiwanis Youth Symphony Orchestra delighted us with their beautiful music. We also had the pleasure of experiencing an "Elvis Christmas Special" with the talented John Van Thiel. The Faithbridge in Franklin choir also graced us with their voices, spreading holiday cheer.
- Community Spirit: Park High School's students blew us away with their incredible singing performance. Their Christmas cheer was truly contagious! We extend our heartfelt thanks to Hospice Alliance & Hospice Alliance Foundation for their uplifting caroling – it truly brightened our spirits. The Horlick High School PM Geometry class went above and beyond, spreading holiday cheer by going room to room handing out gifts.
- Festive Fun: We've enjoyed lively Bingo games with Kelly from Arise Physical Therapy and indulged in some delicious treats during our "Tasteful Treat Thursday" baking sessions. We also celebrated "Ugly Sweater Day" with some delightfully festive fashion choices!
- Holiday Giving: We held a successful Holiday Raffle to support our Staff Appreciation Fund, showing our gratitude to the wonderful team who cares for our residents.
- Warmth and Camaraderie: We even enjoyed a heartwarming outing to Douglas Diner, where we warmed up with hot chocolate on a chilly day.
- Homegrown Talent: Our very own Catherine and Charlie graced us with a wonderful Christmas song performance in our chapel.
- Youth Involvement: The Prairie School Girl Scouts also brought holiday cheer to our residents, spreading joy and kindness.
These events have created a truly magical atmosphere at St. Monica's. We are incredibly grateful to all the musicians, performers, volunteers, and students who contributed to these joyous occasions.
Wishing everyone a joyous holiday season filled with warmth, love, and cherished memories!
Sincerely,
The St. Monica's Senior Living Team
